this gloomy autumn day
Angel and I met early today to do a quick photoshoot before her German language class but just like it was forecasted, it rained before Angel can strike her first pose. So we agreed to do the photoshoot later and take cover in a nearby coffee shop. We had about one hour and 30 minutes to take photos but we spent one good hour of it sitting in a café and I can’t complain about it. I do enjoy the company of my friends and I cherish genuine moments like this when I can speak my mind freely. I think it is great to be able to trust someone and it is a greater feeling if that person trusts you back.
Anyway, it’s a shame JJ cannot be with us today. It would have been double the fun if she would have been there.
If it is not for the nagging feeling that we still have a photoshoot to do and that Angel still has to go to her class, we would have happily sat there until we cannot drink another cup of tea anymore. So, being the responsible people that we are (*giggles), we got up and used the remaining 30 minutes to take turns snapping photos of each other.
This is my usual autumn outfit. Ankle boots, leggings, body-hugging mini-dress, and jacket or a blazer (depending on how cold it is). Today, I added a grey and yellow scarf just to add a bit of color (how typical of me, right?). I noticed that in all my outfit of the day posts, I am almost always wearing black. It slowly starts to get boring so I promise myself that one of these days, I am going to break out of my comfort zone and put together a really colorful outfit.
So anyway, my outfit may be predictable but let me share something new to you (drum rolls).
I am a happy to announce that my husband and I are expecting the birth of our second child.
That’s right, I am three months preggy and I can’t contain my happiness about it!
Of course, I never planned to keep this a secret but I am thankful to my friends who kept this a secret until I am ready to share it with the world.
We tried to do some baby-bump photos today but because I am wearing all black, we didn’t have so much success. The photo below is the best baby-bump photo I can share at this time.
Do you want to see my belly-bump at two months? Jump back to this post: when going out with girlfriends. You’ll see that even at two months, my baby-bump was already showing. 🙂
